Rainey Street Happy Hours

November 22, 2022/2 minutes reading

Stagger Lee, 87 Rainey St.

Monday - Friday 4-7 pm

Tucked into the historic heart of Rainey Street, we introduce to you, The Stagger Lee. Local crafts and global favorites live and breathe throughout the casks, kegs, and bottles of the bar, along with an adventurous array of cocktails. Inspired by the classic Lloyd Price song “Stagger Lee” (covered by such luminary musicians as Woody Guthrie, Taj Mahal, The Grateful Dead, Duke Elllington, Cab Calloway, James Brown, The Clash and Bob Dylan), this little haven of happiness is the perfect spot for your quick drink, slow brew, your night out, or your friendly party. Don’t forget to appease your belly with barbecue, delicately smoked and served deliciously by Metcalf's on-site.

Icenhauers, 83 Rainey St

Monday & Tuesday 4-9pm | Wednesday & Thursday 4-7pm

East of downtown's mayhem and just west of I-35's hipster hangouts, Icenhauer's Rainey Street location is an ideal middle ground that draws a lively yet sophisticated crowd whose tastes range from craft beer to thoughtful cocktails.Originally built in 1895 as a traditional "wing and gable" house, it remained a family residence until 2009. Over the years, it was owned by several different families and, unfortunately, had fallen into severe disrepair. Like several other homes on the block, Icenhauers has a new purpose and the house is full of life.
